Post by alanrichey »

Just seeing this while learning for the new DirectTV HR23-700.

Not in the pull down list for RemoteMaster, anyone know the Protocol ID ?

Same as the DirecTV protocol. Open a DirecTV upgrade in RM and find out.

Many thanks, I now feel suitably embarrassed :-)

Actually I didn't need to get an upgrade as DirecTV is a supported protocol.

Cheers

No embarrassment needed, it's silly that the protocol is called different things in different places. We really need to get that fixed.

Thanks :-) How about JVC(2) which has appeared in IRSCOPE. Can I use the JVC or JVC Combo ? Do I need a different ID ?

IIRC, all JVC signals decode as JVC and JVC2
