We don't have any Akira upgrades available, but even if we did, what would you do with the upgrade file? As you don't have a JP1 remote or JP1 cable, how were you hoping to get that code installed into your Nokia?

Based on a quick look at results from a google search for "Psiloc Irremote", I think it can import ccf or lirc formats.

If we had IR data in any form, I think I could translate it for you to ccf or lirc.

But I don't see that data in any form on the net.

We really could use a Lirc2EFC and EFC2Lirc tool, don't suppose you feel like writing one, eh John?

If you know the pronto discrete codes for your equipment

Please take a look at this site of Psiloc Irremote.

They say we can compose remote codes by ourself if we have them.
It said that "If you know the pronto discrete codes for your equipment, you can insert them here to create your own remote."
I thought you have those codes

I've just emailed the folks at Akira, I'll let you know if I hear back from them. Some company's are very supportive, but many more are not, so we'll see.

I never heard back from Akira. I also emailed UEI but they haven't captured an Akira remote yet either.

I don't know where you're located, but can you get "One For All" or "Radio Shack" remotes there? If so, you could consider getting a universal remote, especially if it's returnable, and then try using the search function to see if Akira have re-used the codes for an existing TV, which is a fairly common practice. How knows, you might get lucky.

I'm in Mongolia, i bought a chinese One for all remote from the market and tried it, it works on all the tvs, but this Akira.
Akira is very old, and touch buttons are broken, and i change chanels using something thing and pressing by holding it inside this touch hole Embarassed
I'm thinking now, that the remote receive function, or receiver is broken too with the channel buttons.

Found a match and recorded the IR signals with the JP1 tools to create the respective files.

The instructions are quite plain.

Please define the codes for your device. Please note that they must be adhered to the pronto discrete format.

You could use any number of tools to converrt into the Pronto format. I used IR Scope > Export Mode> Pronto from decode > Export selected. To get the following output.
Code:
