Not quite sure where to post, but my best guess is the issue is related to use of this extender.
Here are tools that I am using and they appear to be the most current ...
Radio Shack 15-135
RemoteMaster 1.90
IR 8.00 beta 7
15-135 extender with xshift v1.03
Most everything seems to be working fine, and I am successfully using much of the extender functionality. However, I have one device upgrade created through RM. When I add the uprgade in IR it is missing some of its key mapping. If I load the same upgrade into an unextended IR file ... all is good.
Thoughts? Any additional data I can provide?
Thanks, Greg |

Post your RM and IR files and tells us what keys are missing. Realize that the extender version has fewer phantoms and that those phantoms and discrete on/offs are mapped differently. Also the following keys have different addresses in the extender: AVIn, TV/VCR, TVIn, last, skipback, exit and plus100. Whatever upgrade you build in RM must use the extender with xshift RDF, not the unextended or non-xshift versions. |

Grr .. stupid mistake. Thanks for the info mdavej as it made me realize that RM was configured for the unextended remote. Switched and all is well.
Since this was my first post after rturning to the forums ... I have to say thanks to all for their hard work and it was great to see the remote craze is still in full swing. You guys (gals) rock!
Cheers, Greg |
