Isn't there such a thing as a program to turn your laptop into a remote control? I have a couple old laptops with infrared ports. |

It takes some tinkering and alot of time but you can turn almost any laptop into a remote control.
I have supplied a picture for some help.

Thank you, but... what's driving me crazy is that I've got two laptops with an infra red port build right in, it was used for file transfer, there just has to be a way to access it and use it. Perhaps no one's done it yet. I should probably quit griping and try to write it myself. |

If it was used for file transfer, I expect that it's really an IrDA port. _________________ Rob
