JP1 as IR blaster

Is there anyway to use JP1 as an IR blaster for a PC.
I would like to use JP1 RF remotes through USB or RS232 to blast IR through netremote/girder on my pc. This would provide a cheap way to have AV control (through RF) of my AV equipment.

Any idea if this can be done or JP1 really just for reprograming the remote ?

Not that I know of.

JP1 is just for programming the remote.

You need to interface to the remote some other way.

If you want to control gear with your PC over IR, there are lots of solutions out there where the PC directly emulates a remote.
