1. Device: Philips DSR3421/85
2. Type of device: Satellite receiver (Sky Mexico)
3. Year: I don't know
4. JP1/UEI Remote model:OFA 9960 R0
5. Do you have a JP1 cable?No, but I already uploaded 2 codes with IR2WAV
6. Still have original remote?yes
7. Checked the file section? yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? yes
9. Partially working setup code? no
10. Learning remote question? I have tried to lear the remote codes with no succes, even the 9960 blinks twice saying that accepts the code, it does not work. I don't have a JP1 cable to see if there is any code.
I think in using http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=2200 but I'm not sure. |

That file contains an RMDU file, so why don't you try it and see if it works your unit.
According to the original thread describing that file, it does work:

If it works, let us know so we can store the file in the proper place with a better description. _________________ Rob

I tried it following instructions, including the "upgrade protocol ** Required ** " modifications and it didn't work. I had to set default to remote and download the codes for my olevia and insignia audio receiver. |

Then it sounds like you have a different device than the one in that file. _________________ Rob

I don't see how I can help you without having a way to see what the remote signals look like. I'll ask the folks at UEI if they have this code. _________________ Rob

Found a match and recorded the IR signals with the JP1 tools to create the respective files.
