Hi all
i have a new dreambox remote no urc-39930r j0-04
when i load the ir software there is an error message "saying coflict at fixed data address $0200 do you want to repace existing data with the fixed data"
the handset is new and did this from first loading i am asuming i use the dreambox v4 rdf version of this
what am i doing wrong
i notice if i say yes the software becomes unstabe when loading new protacols and crashes i am having trouble loading anything in to this remote
i have a version 3 of this remote all set up is there anyway of transfering the data from v3 to this v4
any info would be great

Dreamox Remote Error

Same problem. Just download from remote and then upload to remote. Problem gone and all is well.

You may want to download the latest RDF for 10381038 Dreambox V4 from here as that one doesn't have a [FixedData] section in the RDF.
When I was initially building the RDFs for the new remotes, I wasn't sure what the private area was used for so I noted a couple of these bytes as FixedData in the RDF. Subsequent downloads from other users had different data in this area so I removed this section from the RDF. I believe the private area holds initial setup codes and perhaps version info. Initial setup codes would vary depending on the supplier of the STB.
