The RDF available in the zip file is for one using a S3C80 processor chip. I opened mine up and there is the SST65P542R installed and no EEPROM.
Also there is the following number silkscreened on the PCB:
Code: Select all
UEIC-0102 ATLAS, URC-4AXXXB01 020911Some where i saw that 65P542 based Remotes use a JP1.1 cable, so I build one and can communicate with the Remote.
After downloading with IR 7.15, in the RAW tab it shows a Signature of CS400102.
It looks like I have to create a new RDF file for this Remote, but have not the slightest clue of where to begin.
I searched all over this forum to find information on that particular Remote or how to create the RDF file, but could not find enough information to get going.
There is terrific information here, initially I did have some problems with my JP1.1 cable, but with all the knowledge contributed by you folks, I was able to get that straighten out (had a broken wire within the cable itself).
Ultimately I'd like to control my TV, Cable box, DVD and Surround sound with this one Remote.
TV: Sony KDL-40S4100
DVD: Sony DVP-NS57P
Cable: Motorola DCT3416 (same as DCT3412, but with large Hard drive)
Sound: Pioneer VSP-555 (lost that remote years ago.. )
But I think first I have to overcome the RDF issue and then move on learning on how to create an upgrade to make it happen.
Then I have to write a manual for the wife....
thank you all
Pete
