Early on, when I couldn't get any of my JP1 remotes to learn the signals, I contacted customer support for Venturer.
Methinks there might be a lack of Engrish ranguage skills at the place.
They said I shouldn't have been able to control the box with another remote.
MWUHAHAHA!
"I am sorry but the STB766 is not designed to work with other remote.
I apologize for the late response on your email, we were experience problems with our server and it delayed the response
and delivery of our emails. Thank you for your patience.

Relatedly, I found a sheet of paper in the box for the second unit. It had a manual addendum and gave some possible OFA codes. (0749, 1749, 0790, 1285, 0819, 5073, 5073) Believe it or not, code 0790 in the Replay would cycle the power, but no numbers. The custom .RID is still the only way to control the box. |
