When I converted the signal into binary form, it was obvious that the 2nd command byte wasn't the comp of the 1st command byte. For this upgrade, I didn't try to have the executor generate the 2nd byte, so I simply calculated it based on the binary and entered it into the KM file.

If you're curious as to the true structure of the data, I believe there are 3.5 bytes of fixed data, followed by 1 variable byte of data and a 1/2 byte checksum, where the checksum is an XOR of the previous 4 nibbles.
