Hi Rob,

Unfortunately your latest update (your satori3.ir file) reponds exactly the same as your first fixed file. Due to the crossed posting I have given my upload also the name satori3.ir. I will add my initals in the future :-) .

I will check tomorrow (CET-time) your changes in detail.

Thanks again!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what remote do you select as Remote in KM? I don't see your remote listed.

I see now (from KM and the dreambox upgrade) that lame key is OBC 082, EFC 160.

Best,
jeff

These 4 keys must be programmed with keymoves.

Here is original IR txt file for URC-39711 B00-02.

Thanks for the URL. I never managed thusfar to get to the files at Yahoo and I was under the impression that all files were moved to 'hifi-remote'.

I have downloaded the file and my remote works now 100%.

For Rob: I did a check on the files and found the following differences:
1) in the 0x000 - 0xff section I found the same number of bytes, but many differences. I don't know if this part has some real content regarding the remote.
2) In the rest (>= 0x100) I found one byte different: Byte 214 was a 0x13 in my remote, but has a 0x12 in the original software.
I have changed this last single byte in your satori2.ir and found that the remote started to work with the 4 keys (as mentioned before) missing.

For Jeff: I have chosen the basic dreambox remote in KM.

Rob, Jeff, Damir,

THANK YOU for your great support. I found it an interesting experience, since I had no idea at all what the possibities for such a remote has and I am sure I will to play a little more with it.

My next step will be to program the V4 and V5 (DM7020 and DM8000) to have them controlled by one remote in the same room. However, the DM8000 has still to arrive. In Hollland the first 64 are now delivered to customers.

I am very happy JP1 user!

Kind regards,
Jan
