Is there a way to modify this file? or is it better to start from zero ?
Bare with me, I'm a starter but I got my remote to talk with IR.
Thanks,
Padulo

In the upgrade you linked, the menu function is there as well as the arrows. Please list all functions that are missing.
Note that this upgrade is created for a 9910/8910/HTPro remote.
Load the upgrade into KM and then change the remote type to your remote.
you may just need to re-layout some of the buttons, or add keymoves, to get it to do what you want.
do you know of any remote that has a " dot" button for sub-channel selection? I thought you always had to select the primary channel then channel up (or down) to get to the correct sub.

I thought most HD remotes had a DOT button (rather than a DASH) for entering sub-channels. Deciding which button on a regular remote to use for the DOT button has been a common question from HD users.

My HD-ready TVs (Sharp LCD and Panasonic Plasma) and two different brand of Digiboxes I've seen all have one or the other (a "dot" or a "dash") that is used pretty much interchangeably for direct entry of digital sub-channels. I've usually mapped this function to whatever button is to the left of the "0" digit button. ("+100", *, "enter", etc.)

I decided to dive in and make a new RM file for my TV.
I used the learn function of the Kameleon to read the codes from the Samsung original remote.
I took me 2 hours to do this Saturday night.
I guess I know how it works a bit now for the IR and RM software.
Can I post my code somewhere?
Thanks for your help,
Padulo
