XMP

Post by rconrey »

I have a list of XMP codes from UEI (They tell me its XMP Protocol registry # 008h) that I would like to make into an .ir file for Crestron remotes and .ccf file for Pronto remotes, but I can't seem to find any information on how to do this. Does anyone have an explanation of how to do this, or can they point me in the right direction?

The codes look like this:
  • Button - Code
    Power - 0x0F
    1 ------- 0X01
    2 ------- 0X02
    3 ------- 0X03
    6 ------- 0X69
    Vol + -- 0X0D
    .(dot) -- 0C51
I don't see why it would make a difference, but the 'x's are all capital except the power, and the .(dot) function is the only one without the 'x'. I'm assuming the 'x' means its hexadecimal so case should not matter?

I have a list of 51 of these codes. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick

Is there no way to do this manually? Do I need a remote to learn the codes and output a file from that?
