Hello to all. I wanted to submit my problem, hoping that someone can help me. I do not know why the remote control of my Dreambox now works only in TV mode. Finding information here and there on the internet I felt somewhat 'everything to try and resolve the problem, as the first thing I entered manually (by pressing the Shift key and dream) the various codes: 0031, 0032, 0033 (which gets only accepting, you see the flash of double-led) but nothing, I built the interface JP1 and reprogrammed with the right codes, but, apparently while, apparently, everything is successful detachment when I see and feel that it is not changed absolutely nothing, (even if when I go to read the contents of eprom codes are as we had planned earlier) still does not work. I wonder if the same thing happened to someone.

Are you sure you used the right version of eeprom for your remote?
What model is your remote (it is written on the inner side of battery cover) and which eeprom did you used?

Hi damir, thanks for reply. On the inner side of battery cover is write URC-39730 B02-00, the model is "Dreambox V3" - OUKAOUK1. I have used the file "Dreambox-DM7000-v3.ir", the content is:

I have used ir.exe that write and read the S3C80E7XKM-SOB7 eeprom with JP1 serial interface but the remote work only in TV mode, also if I program with different code es. "DreamboxV2.txt" or other dreambox code. Where I fail?

This file is OK for URC-39730 B02-00.
Maybe the problem isn't in your remote, but in IR sensor in dreambox.

Hi Damir, I don't think that depends of Dreambox ir sensor, I tried with a universal remote control and it works. When JP1 program with the S3C80E7XKM-SOB7 everything seems ok, the LED blinks at the end of programming, when read data from eeprom these are the same used for writing, however, the remote continues to behave as if nothing had happened. It is very strange. I'm carefully reviewing the assembly of the JP1, if I find the solution I post it, it is possible that may be useful to others.
Thanks

It could be the S3C80 processor can't see the EEPROM so the remote is running as if no EEPROM is connected. Maybe you can try blinking back the setup codes for each device button(see if it matches default or the EEPROM contents) or try to save something(keymove, macro, learned key) to EEPROM and see if it works or not.

Hi binky123, I carried out the tests suggested, is exactly as you say, the remote works as if sees no eeprom. Is there some setting that unlocks the situation? Thanks for your answer.

I believe it is a hardware issue(wires from S3C80 to EEPROM) and not a software setting issue. This remote has built-in SAT/0031, 0032, 0033 and that is why it accepts these codes. However, the EEPROM also has these setup codes and they override the built-in ones. The EEPROM setup codes also use different fixed data than the built-in one so they are not compatible. This is why none of the built-in DREAM setup codes work.

I had the same problem some months ago - I had messed with som 9xx commands, and suddenly the remote could not control the DB any longer. I had by accident deleted the DB contents in the remote. The solution was to visit a friend with a working remote, bringing the JP1 cable along and then copy his remote with IR.exe. If you are stuck, I can provide you a working dump file.
