I'm using
RM 1.86
IR 7.08
URC 8910.
I have a Dish Networks remote for the VIP 211.
Using the Dish Network Combo protocol in RM.
IR decodes the "DVR" key as:
Device 1
Subdevice 0
OBC 57
EFC 237
Hex E4
In RM, I have selected the Dish_Network Combo protocol.
When I attempt to enter the above info, after EFC 237, Device turns to 0.
If I force Device to 1, then EFC turns to 229.
Similar thing happens with the transport controls. RM will not let me enter them as IR is decoding them, for any code with device=1.
In RM, I have device 1: 0
device 2: 1
remote address: blank (maybe that's the problem?)
Help? |

no, I didn't really know what that meant so I put device 1:0 device 2:1.
How do I handle the buttons that decode as device 0?
Thanks,

Take a look at the Dish 721 upgrade that is in the files section, it uses two devices so that'll show you how to set it up _________________ this JP1 stuff is a sickness! |
