Hi,
I've bought a URC-7525, I want to use it with MythTV and LIRC, so it doesn't really matter what signals it sends, although I'd like to have every button on the remote sending a different code.
So far, all the codes I've tried (by choosing randomly from the code list) seems to have some buttons which either don't repeat or just mirror the functionality of another key.
Can anybody tell me if there is a code that will make each button use a different function?
Thanks,
Jonny

I doubt that you'll find a built in code where every button sends a signal, so you should find a code where the buttons repeat properly and then program the remaining buttons using advanced codes.
I'm not familiar with the URC-7525 personally, so I don't know if it supports the keymover function (ie, the 994 command) which is what you would need to program advanced codes to buttons.
Looking at the manualthis remote just supports TVs and SAT boxes, so I would recommend trying the SAT codes first as these are most likely to have more buttons programmed than the TV codes.
You can test advanced codes in advanced using the SETUP+nnn method. Start with advanced code 000 and if it doesn't replicate an existing function, use it. If it does, try 001, etc.
