Just bought a Denon AVR3808-CI to replace my AVR3300. Most of the controls work fine, but some features are missing.

Anybody working on creating an KM file for this one?

I suggest going to the Code Search Forum and using the required template.

You can easily add missing functions yourself. Denon lists all the codes on their site:

http://www.usa.denon.com/AVR-3808CI-IRCodes.pdf

The codes are in binary and inversed in order. The number for system address should be put in to the device number and the combination of the extension bits and the data bits is the OBC.

For example, for "Stereo" function (function number 29 on page 2), system address (C1-C5) is "00110", inverted is "01100". Converted to decimal, it's 12 for device number. Data (C6-C11) for stereo is listed as "101110" and extension bit (C12-C13) is "01". Combined together it's "10111001". Inverted is "10011101". Converted to decimal, that's 157 for the function number for stereo function.

Thanks Capn T and Kupakai.

Looks like I got to go ed-u-ma-kate myself again. I was hoping for an easier solution.

Looks like I need to dig up some old scripts I created for bit reversal and translation from bin to dec.

Are you talking about adding functions over and above those found on the OEM remote? If not, you don't need to bother with the binary in the pdf file, you can just learn the buttons and get the codes that way.

At any rate, here's the translated codes from the PDF:
