DIY Gadgets experience?

Post by mlibbey »

Any one else seeing DIY Gadgets unresponsive? I bought a JP1 cable >2 weeks ago, and have sent multiple emails asking for a status without a peep. Is this par for the course, or should I start the paypal resolution process?

Saw your other post in Diygadget's sticky "announcement" topic. Interested parties should read our posts there.

I tried to initiate a resolution process but was told by Paypal that, since my payment has not been claimed, my only recourse is to wait.
Thank you for contacting PayPal.

Since this payment was sent to a confirmed PayPal email address the
recipient will have to cancel it or wait 30 days for you to receive the
funds.
Transactions remaining unclaimed for 30 days will automatically be
canceled.

Depending on the original funding source, the amount of the canceled
payment will be credited to the sender's PayPal account or credit card.

Since your payment has been claimed, I think you should start the resolution process right away. It may be par for _this_ retailer, but 17 days with no response is unacceptable.

Hi,

We were having problems with yahoo mails. Fortunately, we have developed a dedicated ticket system to replace direct email support, for any supports, you can submit a ticket at http://www.csbooth.com or send email to diygadget at csbooth dot com, a ticket will be automatically created for you. As for the orders, all JP1 USB cables will be sent out next week, we had problems with our order system, therefore there is a delay here. As compensation. we will ship an USB card reader along with the delayed order for free.

Sorry about that and thanks for your business!
