How to get OFA to upgrade remote (i.e. URC-6131)?

I believe I have read that if you have an "upgradable" remote without a JP1 connector (like the URC-6131), and you need a device that is not builtin to the remote you can send your remote to OFA and they will send you back a remote with the device code and the remote will have a JP1 connector. Is this true? What is the phone number to use to contact OFA for this service? What turnaround time have people experienced? Thanks.
