Post by cerebralcow »

Im trying to upload this - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files ... s%201.rmdu
Durabrand HT-395 rmdu onto a URC-8910(new) (I'm guessing thats the version that doesnt require any soldering. correct?) with a parallel port interface. but I don't know how to find out the hex address for my parallel port. when I use the 3 addresses provided I get the same error when trying to upload to remote: No response from interface.[/url]

In windows, try Start - Run - msinfo32. Then look in Hardware Resources - I/O. If you have the right address and still have problems, try turning the plug around the other way.

Another way:
Right click My computer.
Properties, Hardware tab, Device Manager.
Navigate to Ports to find Ports (Com & LPT).
Click on +
Select printer port.
Right click Properties.
On the Resources tab is the address.
