Got the cable - now HELP!

I have one of the old universal remotes that came with the Replay TV units. It's the black one. I'm needing to add a new code for a Hitachi TV (specifically the L47V651 )

I've been bounced all over the place just trying to make this work. Can't seem to figure out how to get the current software (downloaded) that works with Vista.

Any help would be appreciated~

I spent a while on the phone with my computer support and I think I've got the driver installed now. So please someone help~~~
