I found one of these remotes at a discount store I was so eager to put the JP1 header on it, I didn't check to see if it worked first.
Everything seems to work fine except the LCD display. On my remote, it goes blank 5 seconds after a button press. No clock, no device in the top left, nothing. However, press a button and the display comes on and it does what it's supposed to do.
Is this how it's supposed to work? Is there any way to make it stay on all the time?
I'm not talking about the backlight, but the LCD itself. |

From memory yes, I believe that's how it's supposed to work. _________________ Rob

And I can confirm that what you describe is the way the RCU810 works. _________________ RCU810 Remote
