Send IR codes thru IrDA port ?

Hello there,

I have a friend who lost the remote control of his amplifier (Nakamichi AV-10) and that annoys it much because half of the adjustments can be done only via the remote control.

I have also a laptop PC which is equipped with an infra-red port (SMC IrCC - Fast Infrared Port).

So, my question is the following : what kind of program could I use to transfer these codes via the IR port of my laptop to a simple programmable remote control (Sony RM-AV2000) ?

I don't have the foggiest idea how to use these codes outside of JP1, but with the IRTool, and DecodIR from this site you could find out that these are. Can you use information in this format?
