I'm using the "Comcast DVR URC-1067Bx3 JP1.3" RDF file in IR and trying to create a BluRay device upgrade with RM - but I can't find the same remote in RM. I'm assuimg that's because I don't have the image file. If that's true, anyone know where I could pick one up? Or, maybe suggest a work around?
I thought maybe I could select a similar remote (The Comcast-URC-1067) and then create my own KeyMoves in IR, but the device upgrade doesn't seem to transfer correctly.

Here is the RDF file I'm using (sucessfully) in IR:

You don't necessarily need the map and image file for the remote to work with RM, as long as you have the RDF file for it. You can do the key assignment using the BUTTONS tab. You should still select the JP1.3 version of the RDF in the and not the URC-1067 in RM and you should get a working code to copy to IR.
If you are not seeing "Comcast DVR URC-1067Bx3 JP1.3" in the REMOTE pulldown menu in RM, maybe you don't have the RDF in the place where RM is looking for. Do you have the RDF for the remote in the same place as where other RDF's are?
If you want the map and image files for the 1067bx3, though, I can work on it tonight and post it as soon as it is done.

The only conclusion I can come to is that it's compiling a list of remotes based on what I have in my images folder - that looks to be true.

Hah. Strange.
I've closed and reopened RM many times - I've even deleted the properties file so it would be recreated when I opened it again. I'll try directing the properties file to a new RDF directory...

Did you close and reopen RM after installing the RDF for the remote? RM scans the RDF files when it opens and does not update its list until the program is restarted.

When I do what I just suggested, I get an error message saying that there are no RDF files in that directory. When I add a second, random RDF file, it see's the second one - and only the second one. So IR can read the RDF file, and not RM.
I'm copying the file directly from the IR RDF directory and not from the RM RDF directory, too.
