KCF 3000NS The slingbox cannot load the IR code you selected

Hi,

I just got a Slingbox Pro. and I have a Kaon Media KCF-3000NS that I do not manage to control since it does not appear in the Slingbox Setup Assistant.

I found on this forum 2 files C1111_PL.bin and C1116_PL.bin that could have help since they helped an oother user of the same Kaon.

I got also the following info FOR MAC USERS like me :

The implementation to load the user supplied bin file is there in the Mac build. The Setup Assistant picks up the user supplied bin file and it works perfectly.

The user should copy the bin file inside the Setup Assistant package:

SlingPlayer.app\Contents\Slingbox
Setup Assistant.app\Contents\Resources\SBAV

Once the bin file is copied in this directory, user can start Setup Assistant’s Audio/Video setup and follow the AV setting. In the Model page, he/she should select “Other” and in the IR code page, user should enter the IR code corresponding to the bin file (e.g. One should enter V1125 if the bin file is V1125_PL.bin).

I did what is described overthere but when I run the Set Up Assistant, I still get a

"The slingbox cannot load the IR code you selected"

What can be wrong ?
