|
|
I have an Atlas DAY 10251025 remote. I have a self-built JP1.X interface cable and a recently purchased JP1.2 cable from DIY.
Neither are working at the moment, but I think I have some connection problems.
I'm concerned with the DIY remote because when I have the cable plugged in (and not even connected to the serial port...), some keys fail to function. My self-built cable doesn't exhibit this quirk.
Is this behavior in DIY cables normal? |

Hi,
I also bought a DIYGadgets JP1.2 interface and couldn't get it to connect to a jp1.3 remote that had been successfully connected to. I think we got a couple of bum interfaces. He (ebay seller and DIYGadgets are the same person) offered to replace mine. You should ping him and I'll bet he'll do the same.
Did you go through the trouble-shooting step Tommy has given for debugging the interface?
