RID file for Conaxsat Trio (and Duo)

Need help adding new IR blaster codes to your ReplayTV unit, this is the place to ask. Please mention whether you are trying to program either (a) a 4000/5000 series unit, or (b) a 2000/3000 series unit (including Panasonic Showstoppers).

RID file for Conaxsat Trio (and Duo)

Post by rager1969 »

I almost bought a Conaxsat, so I built a RID for it based on The Robman's upgrade file discussed in a different forum http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... c&&start=0.

However, since I ended up buying a Pansat 250SM, I have no way of verifying the RID file works. Nonetheless, I have posted it http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=4971.

If you are able to test it, reply back here to let us know.

Replaytv conaxsat CNX Blaster codes

Post by jimmy74720 »

If anyone can help please do so. I have two replays and would be set if I could just get them to change channels on my Conaxsat Duo. I have used the Rid that Rager provided with no luck. I have also made my own Rid with the software and Files I found on this forum, but still no luck.
One thing I have noticed is, before I uploaded anything on my replay, I was able to turn the conaxsat on and off with a few of the preset rid Numbers (0255 0333 and 05??) but now that no longer works.
However I can still change channels on my DTV receiver.

I found if you change the device to 0 it will repeat the last command you entered on the CNX if you enter a 4 on the CNX it will repeat the # 4 three times and change to that channel. I have been trying different codes but it is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Working RID file posted today. http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=5109

I built this using the hint from usctrojan1 above. After being unsuccessful with converting a working slingbox code file I started looking for pronto codes and lo and behold, the Robman comes through for someone building a file for a tivo! Not quite a ReplayTV but he listed all of the Pronto Hex codes which RidGen will happily convert. I don't know why the codes would be different than the ones generated by using EFC codes from a working slingbox file but they are and they work. No double numbers, just ReplayTV working as it should!

For those interested, the original thread with conaxsat Pronto codes and some other technical words and stuff is here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... 4329ff49e5

Thanks again for the awesome resource The Robman!
