I have some Radio Shack 15-2116s. They work fine, but my kids have dropped them so many times the lcds are fried and they look like poo. So I bought three URC8910s from Rob this week and now they've arrived and it's time to migrate.
How?
I opened my LV (living rm) IR file and made note of all the device numbers, then opened a new file for an 8910 and selected all the same devices. Some stuff works; some doesn't.
Is there a quick and dirty way to just copy from one IR file to another? Granted, the remotes are different models, but wouldn't it be easier to copy everything and then tweak what doesn't work?
BTW... I've never used Remote Master or Keymap Master if that tells you anything. _________________ Gray Strickland

I'm making progress... I figured out how to copy the custom device (which I forgot I had) from the old file to the new. Now I just have to figure out how to recreate the key moves. _________________ Gray Strickland
