URC 7740 Prime Line 4 Can I use it?

Just wondering if it is possible to use this remote. I haven't got it yet but wanted to know if I could modify it with JP1.* setup. thanks in advance

If this is the same remote that I think it is, it has holes for a 6-pin connector and space in the plastic for it (unlike the new 15-100) but it's not only missing an EEPROM, it's also missing a couple of resistors and maybe something else (I forget). I actually have one somewhere but after I soldered in the parts it didn't work, and I never got around to trying to fix it.

Now, this was a few years ago, so it's possible that the current models are different.

The one I am looking at looks just like that one so shall pass and move on to another if I can find it. Have seen the ones you are offering just trying to make it a bit cheaper for myself. The dollar make prices a bit too much at the moment. Only want to have a play to see if I get into it at the moment.

The picture that I posted *is* your remote. I don't know for certain that the remote that I have is the same one, as I don't have it handy, nor do I know for certain that it still ships with the parts missing, so it might be worth a try.

There are other OFA remotes available in NZ that are JP1 ready.
