Code for new TiVo Series 2?

Post by jacquesb »

Santa brought me a new TiVo Series 2 DVR, and I'm having fun figuring out how to connect it to my A/V installation, which includes a Comcast HD box (Motorola 5100), Toshiba 40" RPTV, Toshiba VCR, Toshiba DVD, etc. My question is: what setup code should I be using for the TiVo? It doesn't say "Sony" or "Philips" or any other manufacturer on the box...

Have you checked with OFA? This is the JP1 forum. :)

Damn it is hard to be a hardass during the holidays.

Try 0618 or 0636 I think.

Now go and buy a damn JP1 cable!

I have a JP1 cable already (thanks for asking). And I managed to get gifts for both Xmas and Chanukah .... that's what I get for marrying a Catholic!

Thank you for the codes.
