amino 110 & adb 3800 ip stb. Please help.

I've tried the different methods on this forum the most recent i saw was to download the file directly to the folder but when i run the sling box program there is no amino in the brand area am i just doing it wrong.

Yes, you don't expect the word "Amino" to appear in the brand area, you have to select "other" and enter the code manually, as described in the instructions.

I've tried to do that but when I entered the code it gives me a yellow error.

for instance c1818 n2003 etc. is this the way the code should be added ?
