9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? n/a

There are about 20 Philips DVD player upgrades in the file section. Have you tried ANY of them?

Not yet.

I just ordered the player, it's on the way. I just wanted to get a head start here first.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get it to work.

I haven't touched my jp1 remote in a long time as this is the first time I'm changing a component in a long time, so I've forgot a lot of the previous knowledge that I had.
