Not sure about how the device toggle protocol is implemented, or the technicalities of this question, but I personally would find the addition of a feature such as the Home Theatre light illuminating as well as the device key if one state of the toggle is activated, and only the device key if the other state is active. My remote is a OFA7562 so obviously it would only apply to these models.
I assume, maybe incorrectly , that the lights which are illuminated are defined by a bit mask which is sent to a routine in the remote since there are several protocols available which illuminate more than one LED.
Even if this cannot be done as a 'one-off', perhaps you could give me some pointers on how the protocol could be modified to achieve the desired effect
