OK...I have the comcast silver DVR remote and the model in the remote is URC-1067BG0
I programmed the universal 4 digit code for my TV which is 0156 and the buttons on the remote work (volume, mute, etc)
So now I am trying to add some advanced codes. For instance, I dont need the mute key so I am trying to add advance code 100 (picture size) to the mute key. I hit TV-SETUP (2 blinks) 994-setup(no hold)-100-mute
It doesn't do anything....still works as mute. I have tried dozens of different advance codes from the adnace codes listings for the 0156 TV code but nothing works.
Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Really trying to do by myself but am stuck here. This SHOULD work right?
