need help with sony t60- 2nd receiver

I have 2 sony t60 receivers. The second one I set up to use remote code 2 (it's been a few years, I forget how I set that up). I am trying to set up a OFA 8811 to use that device along with a few others. I can get the others to work but not the SAT-T60 with other remote code. When I learn all the codes from a working remote (the Sony tivo peanut), it says device code 23, sub device 133.

I am using RemoteMaster and the sony t-60 rmdu file I downloaded. I wasn't sure how to set a few things:

1. Protocol - choices are Sony20, Sony12/20, Sony 12/15/20.
I tried Sony20

2. With sony20, I tried Main device=23, Sub device=133. Some functions worked but no ff, rew, pause.

3. Which 881x do I choose? 881x, 881x 1k, 881x 2k. How do I tell which
remote I have? (I should probably know but I don't. The back says 8811B00)

I was able to hack a workaround using just learning keys but there must be a smarter way.

Also, there were some references to a "Protocols Help" file but I'm not clear which file that is from the beginners page.

Are you sure about those numbers? The list of sony codes at http://www.hifi-remote.com/sony/ is pretty complete and doesn't include 23.133. If you have info missing from that site, you should send it to the maintainer of that site (see the e-mail link near the top of the page).

If all the signals are the same Sony20 device code, that is easiest. If some signals are other device numbers, you may need one of the other choices.

What do the learned versions of those signals decode as?

That is part of KM and much of its info is specific to KM. The RM version of similar info shows up as protocol notes on the setup sheet as soon as you select a protocol.

Those are the right Sony20 device codes, this is from the SAT page on the Sony site...

.. these receivers can be set to any one of three devices. Sat1 is 183, Sat2 is 23.133, and Sat3 is 23.69.

Those are the right Sony20 device codes, this is from the SAT page on the Sony site...

I looked on the main page of that site and didn't see the SAT section at all. Today I do see it. So either my browser or something more serious was malfunctioning when I posted earlier that 23.133 wasn't there.

I thnk that this was the answer! I had the wrong remote type.
Thanks for the help. Thanks also for the RM tool. It's awesome! I don't fully understand JP1 but I was able to get done what I wanted -- and more.
