rm setup icon , trial offer expired? help please

hi,
anybody know why the setup installation icon , comes upe "trial offer has expired".
how can get around this or does someone have a working installation version of rm 1.77

It sounds like you may be running the exe version instead of the java version. The exe version is based on a trial license of Jet and that may be what it is.

Try installing and running the Java version

Or you can just move the date on your PC back a year while you use it

or move the date on your PC forward 5 years when you install it?

Seriously, this used to work on the Quicktime nag that asked you if you wanted to upgrade to Quicktime Pro.
