URC-8910/9910 update

Post by The Robman »

The shipment of URC-8910 and URC-9910 remotes is in transit and according to the Fed-Ex website, it should arrive at my door tomorrow (02-09-2007), which means I should be able to ship all the back orders, and any new orders, on Monday (02-12-2007).

I apologize for the delay, but it was totally out of my control.

I should be getting 40 units of the URC-8910 and 8 units of the URC-9910. That stock won't last long, so if you've been thinking of getting one of them, don't wait too long.

I also have 7 units of the Radio Shack 15-2116 remote available.

For complete info, follow the "Remotes For Sale" link in my sig.

Well, the remotes didn't arrive today and it turns out that the trackig number that I was given is not really for my shipment as it's already arrived somewhere else. By the time I called OFA today they said the warewhose was closed so they won't be able to check up on this until Monday, so more delays.

If anybody who's placed advanced orders is tired of waiting, just say the word and I'll refund your money, I completely understand.

OFA has just given me a new tracking number and this time it looks legit (here's the link). So, if all goes as planned I will have the remotes on Wednesday evening which means I should be able to get them in the mail on Thursday morning.

Rob, based on your post I placed a bid on eBay for an 8910. I saw your follow up post with the tracking number later. If I win the bid, I would like to take you up on your offer of a refund. I will let you know by this Wednesday or Thursday before you leave for vacation whether I need the remote from you.

I have always supported worthwhile forums. I also understand your sales help support this forum. Have you ever considered donations? Many of the other forums I have joined have a button or link to make a donation.

I don't ask for donations but I'll never turn them away, and I understand about the URC-8910, it's not a problem.

According to FedEx, the URC-8910/9910 remotes are waiting for me on my doorstep, so I should be able to ship out the outstanding orders tomorrow morning.

VegasGuy, please confirm whether you want me to ship yours or not.

The shipment is here, so I now have the URC-8910 back in stock, but the URC-9910s weren't included so I'm going to have to track those down.

Hi Rob,
Is there any news on the wayward URC-9910's?

I was expecting to find a couple of boxes of 9910s when I got back from vacation, but what I found was another box of URC-8910s, which they sent by mistake! So, they shipped the 9910s on Monday and according to FedEx tracking they should be here tomorrow.

Rob - I know you're currently out of the 8910's. Do you know if you'll be able to get more in the future?
