The rmaster.err shows a trap if trying to File->Open or Save As. To the user, nothing seems to happen when doing this (no file-chooser dialog box is displayed).
The error trap in the rmaster.err log shows "ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException".
This turns out to be a java bug. If you get this error, change the RM Look and Feel to something other than "Windows".
