I'm curious. It is made by UEI. JP1 or JP1-2??
Device code is 1478 (definitely not 1476!) I think.

Don't know. Do you have one? Does it have a 6-pin?

I have one of these remotes and while it has the pads (with jp1.2 next to them) I have not been able to find any hints of an RDF for it.
I guess my next step (unless someone has already or is in the process of doing it) would be to disassemble the remote, take pictures of the board etc, install the header so I can plug in my cable and do a raw download for analysis.
I'm thinking I want to get into this a lot deeper than I have been (I'm a programmer in my day job) but I'm not sure I want to jump in quite this deep on my first jump beyond just programming them and making my own upgrades.
BTW I have currently got 8 JP1 or JP1.x compatible remotes so far 1 9910, 3 Millenium 4's, 3 Comcast 1067A's and the Visio appears to be a 66700BA1 as a model number.
I'm also trying to figure out (just for the fun of it) how/if I can turn my URC-7201 into a 7800 by adding the extra components and then a header so I can program it? I know it's not worth it, but it's just one of those things, the challenge of hacking it and extending it's life (and now that I have gotten the idea from others I'm thinking about painting it while I'm at it.)
I know this is a long post, but sometimes you have to just jump in. I have uploaded 2 upgrades I created after not being able to find anything even close to what I needed (Samsung HT-80 and Vizio L32) and I have another just about finished (Samsung TV-VCR that no other upgrades appear to work at all with) that I will share as soon as I get it cleaned up.
I would like to thank in here along with this all the old timers who I have been able to read their messages and figure out how to do all this stuff without having to actually post before now.

You can absolutely modify the URC-7200 to work with JP1, this doc explains how...

If you provide an IR dump of the Vizio remote, I'm sure that one of us will help get you started with an RDF, if someone hasn't already created one.
Just keep in mind that you will need seperate cables for your JP1 and JP1.x remotes.

Yes, I just have to pop it open and solder the header into the pads. I also do have both cables (actually 3, but only 2 are functional). As soon as I get time to open it up and put the header in I will download it and upload the image. This will be nice since I intend to be involved enough in the process to get comfortable with doing it in case I run into another that doesn't have one. I'm guessing that the other thing that needs to happen is creating a map with an image of the remote for KM and RM? I can certainly create the graphic for that at the same time as I do the other stuff, hopefully later today or tomorrow. (I know, Christmas holiday and I am going to spend it hacking remotes)

I just relooked at the file and as it turns out my Cinema 7 is the 7201 which apparently is missing some of the components although all the pads are there. I am trying to find out what the missing components are (other than the EEPROM which I know what it is) so I can add them to it and add the connector at the same time. Does anyone have a good photo of the 7200 that has all the components? This is I know far more time than it's worth, but its the challenge actually, I just can't let it go for some reason.

IIRC, the only difference between the 7200 and the 7201 is the color. I'm not sure what components could be missing from a 720x remote. The EEPROM at least should certainly be there (did you check and determine that it's missing?)
