Magnavox mvr700vr Help

I have a Magnavox MRV700VR, I have had it for about a year now and love it. I can't find this out anywhere I look online or the Manual, so I thought I would ask here since there are alot of techs and DVD People here.

When I dub from VHS to DVD is there anyway you can watch TV while this is happening?

Right now My HD TV is set up on Comp 2, so to go to the DVD PLayer I have to switch over to Video.

What's stopping you? This is a stand-alone VCR/DVD combo, right? So can't you switch to native TV mode on the set?

How do you have this thing wired up? Where is the antenna/cable connected? Does the Magnavox remote have a TV/VCR button?
