EEPROM & 6-Pin Header suggestions?

Plan: I would like to add eeproms and a 6-pin headers to (walmart) 6012w's.

Problem: Before going to wal-mart, I thought I would just zing over to mouser.com and order the 2k bytes (16k bits) eeproms, and the 6 pin headers. I have spent about 20 minutes at mouser, and another 20 minutes searching here and at yahoo JP1, trying to decide which of the many eeproms and headers I should order, as there are so many brands and such, and I wanted to avoid ordering the wrong thing.

Might any gurus or experts have some suggestions as to which eeproms and 6 pin headers to order (or stay away from)? Thank You!

Steve,

Just get them from Rob. They'll be right, and probably a lot better in price. I think about 3.00, shipped to you, and he's quick about getting them sent out. Just specify if you want the 2K or 8K since both are supported. He takes paypal and some other online payments.
