Is there a list of all the (non-custom) setup codes that also shows the protocol name and device code? For example I know the protocol name and device code for a particular EFC and I want to know what setup code I could use this EFC with. Thanks.

In this folder
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files/Spreadsheets/
there is a spreadsheet called "devices" that lists a lot of setup codes using some rather stale terminology for protocol names etc.

If your protocol and device number isn't in there, then there's no good reference source available to you. But if you post the protocol name and device number, one of the experts will probably know the setup code if there is one.

Thanks for the reply. I was already aware of the devices.xls file, but it is somewhat out of date. I was hoping there was a more recent verison or something similar. Currently I'm trying to help someone find a setup code for a protocol/device of NEC1/247, but I would like to know of a way to find this out for any arbitrary protocol/device as it would be helpful from time to time. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure there are no built in setup codes for any NEC device 247. I also don't have any samples of it among the many CCF files I've downloaded.
