OFA 9910 not taking new additions

Hello,

So I have an OFA 9910 and I have tried using an official code with addition buttons, and an upgrade and I still can't get the darn thing to work with my Pioneer DV-C302D. I looked at this file though decodeccf, http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/fi ... wn_ccf.zip , and I used the efc codes of 153 151 and 155 for the disc change buttons. I tried adding these codes as keymovers as well as adding them to the Pioneer DV-250 file from the Files portion of this site.

I am able to interface with the remote, but it's like every key that is being mapped is not working. I can change the dvd setup code back from an original code and upgrade code through the computer so I don't know if it's the interface or not.

Any help would be most appreciated,

Which official code are you using? I'm guessing that it's probably DVD/0571 or DVD/0525. The protocol used by these codes doesn't support keymoves, so that explains why your keymoves don't work.

If you use an upgrade instead, and you need keymoves to program additional buttons, the keymoves generated by KM and RM will work.

Robman, thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I had figured it might have been an issue with the keymoves, but when I posted an upgrade using the DV-250 file which is a 1571 code, the dvd player wouldn't take any commands, even with the keymoves removed. I saw the OBC codes and they matched some of the ones that I found from the CCF file so I didn't think it was the upgrade which was the problem.

Do you have any other ideas? I don't have the original remote so I couldn't learn the buttons I need.

Do you still have the original Pioneer remote? If so, the URC-9910 is a learning remote, so you can verify the correct OBCs and device codes by learning the buttons from the original remote.

Then, you can verify whether the upgrade that you downloaded uses the right codes.

The thing that makes Pioneer signals tricky is that they often use complicated 2-part signals where they have different OBCs and device codes in each part.
