SAT MediaMaster Nokia 9701

Post by as5365 »

Hello, I have a problem with the Italian MediaMaster Nokia 9701 (GoldBox - Seca decoder + CI).
I tried several option but none work with my OFA URC 7562: first I tried all the code from the deocumentation (goldbox 0292 0853 and nokia 0108 0573 0873 0455 0397 0853) nope, then I look in the Code section of JP1 but none of the 3 available worked (Nokia9800_km612a.zip, Nokia9600_km609.zip and 873-nokia_SAT_0873_v5.05.txt) so I tried the last option: learn. I was able to learn few commands from the original remote but I wasn't able to use them to create a new device. I'm not really an expert so I need some help.
This is what I get from IR when I look at the learbed code:

Power Button: Frequency 37209
Sent Repeatedly while key is being held:
+400 -296 +160 -280 +160 -280 +160 -782 +160 -616 +160 -280 +160 -280 +160 -280 +160 -280 +160 -280 +160 -280 +160 -782 +160 -280 +160 -92346

1: Frequency 35874
Sent Repeatedly while key is being held:
+388 -308 +138 -302 +138 -302 +138 -804 +138 -638 +138 -302 +138 -302 +138 -302 +138 -302 +138 -302 +138 -302 +138 -302 +138 -470 +138 -92704

2: Frequency 36199
Sent Repeatedly while key is being held:
+384 -312 +136 -304 +136 -304 +136 -806 +136 -638 +136 -304 +136 -304 +136 -304 +136 -304 +136 -304 +136 -304 +136 -304 +136 -638 +136 -92546

and so on....
Any hint?

Thanks a lot!

I just decoded those commands manually and they are are the same as the Nokia 9800. Did you copy both the device AND protocol upgrades into IR?.

Also, I think IR (using DecodeIR.dll) should have decoded those as Nokia Quad. Are you using the latest IR version and did you copy DecodeIR.dll into Windows\system directory?

If it still doesn't work, post your file saved in IR over in the JP1 Yahoo group under files|diagnosis area and let us know it's there and I'll take a look.
