The four digit number is not enough by itself to idetify a setup code. You also need a device type.

Even with the device type, the average expert here might or might not know the contents of that setup code. For example, we have information on Audio/0816, TV/0816 and DVD/0816 but there might be other device types of 0816 for which we don't have information.

It might help to tell us the brands and models of the devices you are trying to control.

For other experts looking at this:

Audio/0816 = F12:7
TV/0816 = NECx1:8.8
DVD/0816 = NEC1:114.205

CD/1537 = NEC1:129.102
CBL/1537 = PID 016C
TV/1537 = RC5:0

TV/1915 = NEC2:128.100
Video/1951 = NEC1:0

TV/1032 = NEC1:96
VCR/1032 = Sony12:11 + Sony15:186

1212 No info

1315 No plausible info

Hello, the codes are for:

DVD-Player (Cyberhome CH-DVD 635S): 0816, 1537
Satellite-Receiver (Humax PR-HD 1000): 1915
Projector (BenQ PE 7700): 1032, 1212, 1315

I'll look up some other info later and/or maybe one of the other experts can be helpful.

But meanwhile, I'd like you to check something regarding TV/1032. That uses the same signals but on different buttons as VCR/0042. So program a device button on your 9960 as VCR/0042 and try all the buttons and see if any do anything.

For example:

The 1 button in VCR/0042 is the Vol- button in TV/1032
The 2 button in VCR/0042 is the Guide button in TV/1032
The 4 button in VCR/0042 is the UpArrow button in TV/1032
The 7 button in VCR/0042 is the Menu button in TV/1032

I also found LIRC data for the BenQ LCD TV DV3080 at
http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes/benq/DV3080
That also uses that same collection of signals, but with yet another arrangement of which signal is on which button (not matching either TV/1032 or VCR/0042).

It may same like finding a setup code with just a subset of your functions and those on the wrong buttons would be nearly useless. But in fact finding any setup code in which any functions work is a big step toward getting it all working.
