Just FYI, my unit's model number is: RCD-W1 and the remote is RM-R50.
The Finalize button learns as Sony20, device 26, sub-device 202, OBC 80
And just in case you need it, the Input button is OBC 102 _________________ Rob

It looks like Sony is using different sub-device codes for some of the different models of their CD recorders, so I think we both need to capture all of the buttons from our remotes and post the upgrades. _________________ Rob

Rob, are your numbers for the actual finalizing or System menu? My numbers bring up the menu and I must scroll to finalized. My numbers are for the system menu. |

So far the OBC codes seem to be the same. The difference is the sub-device code of 250. |

My remote has a FINALIZE button that you have to press, followed by the PLAY button, when you have finished recording a CD, that is the button that I recorded. My CD recorder doesn't hook up to a TV, so I don't have a system menu of any sort. _________________ Rob

I wish my remote only used a finalized button. Scrolling thru the menu to finalize becomes a pain in the butt. I have to scroll to finalize on my Sanyo also.
I am off to build the upgrade for my GX315 and the Sanyo later. |
