ir-rf not working with my dolphin remote

Hi all! I am new to the forum, I have 2 9910's and a master spas dolphin, all jp1 compatable. my problem is that I can't seem to get my dolphin remote (possibly a urc-9811) to work the ir-rf box. my other 2 work it just fine, but I can't get them wet. my dolphin manual says it's ir-rf, but I am using the boxes from the 9910's. is there a difference in boxes? or are all the same? please help???? thanks
