I have the URC9910 and 5 devices to control. I have had to learn 3 of the devices, but two of them don't respond to the learned power button. I've attempted to re-learned the button. But it still doesn't work. Any ideas? |

If you're going to get help from the experts, you'd better give a lot more information. What are the 2 devices? How do they normally turn on? Some receivers for example turn on when you select an input. Are you a JPI user? Have you checked the file section for your devices? They will ask you 20 questions, so give them 30 answers to start with.

the two devices are: Fortec Lifetime ultra sat receiver, and a Channel Master antenna rotor. Both turn on and off with a power button. I am a JP1 user. I have used the files found in the file section, and when they didn't work, I "learned" them (along with a third device which does work). |

That's about six answers. Now for some more questions: since you are a JP1 user, can you tell us what the IR protocols, device numbers etc. are and can you upload to the Diagnosis area of the File Section the IR files containing the learned signals? And then please post another message with links to any uploaded file(s). Any pointers to which cides worked and which didn't might also be useful. |

Chiming in about the paucity of information - I would refer you to the #1 Code Search FAQ (linked in my sig below).
Barrring any additional info, my first guess would be that the power signals use a protocol with a toggle bit, which a learned signal will only intermittently properly reproduce, whilst a properly generated upgrade WILL correctly reproduce. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first
