Hi its been a long time since I've been here.
I've downloaded the latest and greatest keymaster and IR. Wow the improvements are really noticable. It looks like a lot of hard work has been going on.
I couldn't find an RDF for the cinema 7. Can I use the same RDF that I used with the old version 3 years ago?
Of course the reason for being here is I bought a new DVD Recorder, oh joy this is so much fun to play with. Now of course I want to control this with my cinema 7. I didn't find any keymaster sheets for the SONY RDR-GRX-330, so I learned a key, and then took a look at another Sony and matched keymaster sheet to see what the functions might be. It worked pretty well on most of the keys, but some of the keys didn't work. So I learned a few of the keys I need to the keys I'd like to use them on. It appears they ave a different Subdevice number.
What is the best way to handle the second subdevice? I've got all of my 7 items in use? Do I just learn the buttons to the appropriate button? This is my first SONY and I'm a little confused.
Sony 2 device ? RDF?

All the files are over here now. The C7 RDF is in the main RDF zip file along with all the other RDFs.
Figuring out the best way to handle multiple device or sub-device codes varies depending on what codes you need to use. If you provide more info, we can advise which Sony Combo protocol is right for you.
