Want to post an image, but don't know how? Read this...

This is the JP1 beginners forum. There's no such thing as a stupid question in here, so post away, but this forum is just for JP1 users and people considering JP1, non-JP1 users please use the appropriate forum above!

[UPDATE] this is no longer necessary as the forum supports attachments now. (The Robman, Nov 5, 2025)

Have you taken a digital picture of your remote and you want us to take a look at it, but you don't know how to post it?

If so, please go to imgur.com., this is a service that will host your images for you, and load your digital image, then come back here and post a link to the image.

If you don't know how to include an image in your post, read the following FAQ item:

https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/faq.php?mode=bbcode#9

Here's my recommended step-by-step.
1. Take your screenshot (ie, hit the PRINT-SCREEN button, or ALT+PRNTSCRN, on your PC)
2. Go to imgur.com
3. Click the "New Post" (in the upper left corner)
4. Do CNTL+V to paste the image
5. Right-click on the image and select "Copy image address". Make sure the address is an image address (ie, it ends in .jpg, .png, etc).
6. Paste the image address into your post, between a copy of IMG tags
